Very subtle - I pictured the whole thing "tryst" in my mind - the walking along the river. The imagery of noise/silence is very artfully done - your anklets and the leaves...very moving.

Shimmering wellsprings of life
And death.
The steady gaze brings tempestuous emotions.
Thoughts of eternity ebb and flow
With each sundering.
Yet, when these opaque vestiges
Close does life open in a sudden sweet vastness.
An embrace that sends the
Clouds racing from the heavens
And my heart pounding in my chest.
A symphony that resounds in my head and
Ends all thoughts of dying.
Time now for happiness
And life.
Separate but somehow one with the
Silence.
