What is Love all About / Love at First sight?

I had always never believed in love at first sight. I thought it was an idealistic way to look at love. I thought there wasn't any way that just meeting someone could cause you to fall in love with them. I thought love had to be based upon something. I thought that maybe knowing somebody really well was the only basis for love but I was wrong. I knew within the first 10 minutes of meeting my boyfriend that I loved him. I connected with him in such a way that I had never connected with anybody before and I was hooked. He told me he loved me 2 days later and we have been together for almost 10 months. We are planning our life together and things could not be any more perfect. So I say that I believe love at first sight does exist. What do you think?

I don't believe in holding back, period. If you want to be with someone, go for it. You never know what you're missiing out on when you pass up a chance. If your friend is a true friend, they will probably understand. The only thing you need to be careful about is getting hurt yourself. You should probably look at what happened between that person and your friend because there might be some incompatiability there between you and your friend's ex. If you feel good about it, jump on in. If your friend gets mad, that's his deal.

If love was a river and having never dived in it or felt the joy of the waves crashing against me, fear might have held me back. I might have stood on the beach for an eternity looking into the depths of the ocean, not knowing what could be but luckily the waves crashed upon the sand, pulling me in deeply without any chance to return to the safe sand of the beach. That's the most beautiful type of love. Unexpected, overwhellming and totally unavoidable. I might drown, I might float but one things for sure, I am definately enjoying the ride.
