In the arms of the one I love

I missed you and I ran a mile;
Just to see your beautiful smile spread across your face;
And feel the warmth of your embrace;

I've been waiting to see you more than ever;
I've been waiting forever;
To come back in the arms of the one I love;

And be free of the pain I was in dying to see you;
My days will no longer be blue;
I await the day I can see you;
With your heart of love so true;

My heart was once a caged bird;
But he set it free;
Free like a dove;
With all of his love;

Here I am in the arms of the one I love;
Here I am in the arms of the man who loves me;
The person who made me feel love was he;
For I was blind before but now I can see;

See through his eyes is pure Heaven;
The place of delight, bliss and peace;
Here I am in the only place which is Heaven on Earth;
In the arms of the one I love.
