If you make a woman cry...

I think this is an ancient proverb. These words are saying everything about what a relationship between a woman and a man should be. God let us a very clear evidence, which people keep ignoring. The woman is there to complete the man, not to be his superior or his slave, but his love. The man reaches God through his woman, this is why God counts her tears. With every woman tear, man is one step further from his goal.

So, be careful, very careful...

"The man reaches God through his woman"? I did not know that! Sounds a bit strange to me..

"With every woman tear, man is one step further from his goal.".. Uhm, I partially agree. I am not saying that it is a nice thing to make a woman cry but still, from this to <no more paradise> (I suppose this is the goal)..  is a long way. Once again, women are not to blame for mens' frustrations!


A Chinese example of humanism was Confucius. Perhaps his most famous teaching was the Golden Rule stated in the negative form, often called the silver rule:

He expressed the well-known principle, "Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself" (similar to the Golden Rule).

Jesus of Nazareth in the Biblical book of Luke: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Sirach 31:15 "Recognize that your neighbor feels as you do, and keep in mind your own dislikes."

If we consider it this way, yes, religion teaches us not to hurt others, no matter if it is a woman or a man.
..but religion also subordonates woman to man.

I agree that religion perpetuates violence against woman. The fact that in most denominations women are not allowed to participate in the same roles as priests, teaches young boys and men that is it OK to ignore women's opinions and that they have a secondary role and position. This is also evident in the Catholic Church by banning priests to marry. How can these priests/ministers understand reality when they do not live the problems that women and couples live. Women by nature are more compassionate than men and when you suppress 50% of the population like that, there are societal problems. When I said that "the man reaches God through his woman" I was reffering to the case when there is a relationship between a woman and a man. I never meant to claim it as a truthful statement, it's only the conclusion that I have come to after reading the text above. Obviously, it's a subjective one and you may aprove or disaprove me (as you already did).

What I was pointing to is that, in spite of her lack of strengh, woman can support a lot of physical pain (that's why man can't give birth!!!), but she can't support spiritual pain so easy. She cries much more easier than a man, she is praying more and she shows more compassion for other people (statisticaly speaking). That's why I think that a "husband" can reach a superior spiritual level ("GOD" - the goal) through his "wife" easier than by himself (or if he doesn't respect and love her as much as he should).

As for religion... I believe in God, but I don't believe in the God that is preached in the churches, the God who revenges or the God who puts man above woman or the God who forgets about his children if they misbehave (eventhough I love going to church from time to time). I believe in the God who is saying "Love each other!" and doesn't make differencies between women and men:

Anyway, in my opinion, The Bible and all these ancient writings are nothing but "men frustrations" perpetuated from the oldest times into the present. Nobody who is still living hasn't been there at the beginning and cannot tell us which modifications suffered in time the original stories. But, according even to the Bible, Woman was created after the man "from his side to be equal" and not his inferior.

I tend to believe that at the begining man was both man and woman, but after the sin his duality was separated into feminin and masculin form. That's why nowadays, we only tend to recreate what God created initially, so we could feel fulfilled in our lives.
